Registered Nurse, RN (Full Time-Evenings) – Surgery

Work hours:

Full Time, 40 Hours/Week;
Evenings;
Monday-Friday ;
On-Call (2 weekdays/1 weekend day per month);

Here's What You Need
· Associate degree from an accredited Nursing program Or Diploma Nurse Program
· BSN preferred
· One-year experience as a registered nurse, or completion of an RN residency program.
· At least one year of Operating Room experience in a hospital setting (preferred)
· CNOR preferred
· RN - Registered Nurse Upon Hire (Required upon hire)
· BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support (Required upon hire) AND
· ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support 90 Days Req What You Will Do
· Delivers care to patients utilizing the Nursing Process
· Assesses the patient
· Plans the care of the patient
· Intervenes as appropriate
· Evaluates the effectiveness of interventions
· Incorporates age-specific safety/infection control measures into patient care.
· Initiates action to meet patient and/or significant other's need for information
· Maintains continuity of patient care inter-shift, inter-hospital, and while expediting out-of-hospital transfers.
