Overview

North Dallas Veterinary Emergency and Specialty Hospital (NDVESH) is a newly constructed 13,000+ sq ft advanced specialty and emergency veterinary hospital located in Frisco, Texas. The 24/7 emergency department is supported by surgical, critical care, and nephrology teams staffed by board‑certified veterinarians and licensed technicians.

The facility houses six exam rooms, 100+ kennels, an open treatment space with five treatment tables, two surgical suites, a dedicated endoscopy room, a fully stocked digital pharmacy, a dialysis room, two ICU units for canine and feline patients, separate isolation wards for gastrointestinal and respiratory disorders, and five total wards. It is equipped with state‑of‑the‑art medical technology, including:

  • Brand new 32‑slice computed tomography (CT)
  • Endoscopy and arthroscopy
  • Vet Rec
  • Ultrasound
  • Snyder oxygen cages
  • EzVET and Smartflow integration
  • 24/7 radiology support
  • 24/7 cytology and pathology support
  • Idexx lab suite
  • High‑flow oxygen
Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive emergency veterinary care around the clock, rotating through overnight shifts.

Typical schedule:

three 13‑hour shifts per week, with days 6am‑7pm and nights 6pm‑7am. Overnight and weekend rotations are required to maintain patient care continuity.

Qualifications

Experienced emergency veterinarian with board certification. Must be willing to work a full‑time schedule of rotating overnight shifts.
