Lawn Health & Pest Technician – $20/hr + Benefits
Location:
Plano, TX (75074) with local routes in Garland, Mesquite, Forney, Plano, Richardson, & East Dallas
Schedule:
Monday–Friday (occasional Saturdays)
Pay: $20-$22 per hour based on experience + full benefits + weekly paychecks
Village Green Lawn & Pest is a family-owned company serving North Texas homeowners since 1980. This is a full-time field technician role servicing residential lawn care, pest control, and mosquito treatment routes. This is year-round outdoor work in North Texas.
We welcome both entry-level applicants (we’ll train the right person) and experienced technicians from lawn care, pest control, landscaping, or similar outdoor field roles. What You’ll Do- Service residential properties on a daily route
- Apply lawn care, mosquito, and pest control treatments
- Inspect properties and recommend solutions
- Communicate professionally with homeowners
- Maintain accurate service records
- Keep your truck and equipment clean and organized
- Follow safety procedures for equipment and materials
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (MVR required)
- Age 25+ (insurance requirement)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical work
- Reliable, professional, and self-motivated
- Strong communication skills (English required; Spanish is a plus)
- Live within driving distance of Plano, Richardson, Garland, Frisco, or Mc Kinney
- Experience outdoors in lawn care, landscaping, pest control, or similar
- Willingness to learn and accept coaching
- Customer-focused, respectful, and professional attitude
- Bonus:
Texas 3A Lawn & Ornamental License (we’ll help you get licensed if needed)
