Sales Support Associate Job Description
The Sales Support Associate role is an integral part of the store’s overall success and efficiency; demanding direct attention to our brand commitment when servicing our customers. Leaving a lasting impression on our customers through friendly, efficient interactions at our cash wrap and a well-maintained sales floor. Accurate and effective work, supporting the flow of product from the moment of receipt through the point of sale is essential to this role.
Responsibilities- Cash Wrap — Greeting the customer with a smile and eye contact; interact genuinely and naturally; read cues to determine needs; conduct email/name capture where permitted by law; maintain accuracy when operating POS; maintain cash wrap organization and cleanliness; suggest add-ons and sell gift cards; maintain cash and POS media in compliance with Coach policy; create lasting impressions and thank customers;
represent Coach brand appropriately. - Stockroom / Warehouse — Receive shipments and transfers; notify Store Management when new product arrives; scan cartons/transfers and verify information; communicate discrepancies; process shipments/transfers per Coach standards; organize and clean stock room daily; manage stock levels and ownership; perform regular cycle counts and participate in physical inventory counts; maintain Loss Prevention standards.
- Sales Floor — Analyze replenishment needs; replenish floor/zone; respond to sell-through and execute visual merchandising; support floor activities; communicate price points, features/benefits, color and stock availability; respond to customer requests and coordinate with team; uphold housekeeping standards.

- Experience — 1-3 years retail experience (cashier/stock, sales, etc.), preferably in a luxury retail service environment; knowledge of fashion trends and competition.
- Education — High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred.
- Technical — Knowledge of cash register systems; basic computer skills (iPad/laptop, Mobile POS, Internet); use of walkie talkie; read price and product release sheets.
- Physical — Able to work at a fast pace; communicate effectively; move on the sales floor and in stock room; climbing, bending, kneeling; frequently lift up to 25 pounds and, at times, up to 50 pounds.
- Schedule — Flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays with high retail traffic and sales days.
