Sales Development Representative – Frisco, TX Hybrid

This is a hybrid role based in Frisco, TX 75034. Applicants must already live in the DFW area.

Work

As a Sales Development Representative (SDR) at Lexipol, you will generate new business opportunities by making outbound calls, engaging prospects, and setting qualified appointments for our SaaS sales team. You’ll be the first point of contact with potential customers, qualifying product fit and building interest through a needs-based, solution-selling process. SDRs at Lexipol drive the lead engagement portion of the sales funnel while collaborating with a team dedicated to making a difference.

Responsibilities
  • SDR Quarterly Revenue – Achieve / exceed quota targets (30%)
  • Create a territory prospecting plan in collaboration with partnered SAEs
  • Execute daily on the prospecting plan
  • Follow the process daily:
    Plan, execute, assess, adjust, execute
  • Assess effects of actions and behaviors, make adjustments to meet objectives
  • Cross-sell prospects on our various solutions
  • Partner with aligned Senior Account Executive to develop the territory to meet or exceed revenue quota
  • Generate a pipeline of new opportunities to meet targeted revenue goals
  • Outbound Prospecting Activities (50%):
  • Conduct outbound calls and emails to introduce our software, qualify leads, and schedule appointments
  • Research and identify new potential customers and decision makers within target accounts
  • Keep accurate records of prospecting activities and opportunities in Salesforce
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing to align messaging and strategies
  • Continuously improve sales skills and product knowledge through training
  • Conduct educational calls and needs assessments with each prospect
  • Build a pipeline of online demo meetings for partnered SAEs and consistently book demos weekly
  • Maintain a rolling pipeline and keep CRM data current
  • Identify untapped revenue and network to generate new business
  • Follow the communication cadence with prospective agencies
  • Uncover additional opportunities for Lexipol through agency partnerships
Aligning our solutions through a needs-based assessment process (10%)
  • Assess how each agency manages, disseminates, and maintains their policies
  • Assess training goals and requirements
  • Assess wellness initiatives and engagement effectiveness within departments
Foster a culture of collaboration and teamwork (10%)
  • Work with internal stakeholders, including Senior Account Executives, Customer Success Managers, and Business Development Managers
  • Partner with and communicate effectively across Lexipol at multiple levels
Requirements
  • Minimum of 1 year of B2B sales experience as an SDR, BDR, Account Executive, or SAE within the last three years, responsible for outbound sales or appointment setting in a SaaS or technology field
  • OR 2+ years of recent experience in a police department, Sheriff’s department, Fire & Rescue, or EMS
  • Excellent prospecting and telephone sales abilities
  • Strong job tenure with a history of success
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport
  • Proven ability to rapidly build rapport and gain confidence of prospects and clients
  • Results-driven and able to work in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
  • Professional experience with Salesforce or other CRMs
  • Willingness to learn
