Aboutthe Role
As a Solutions Engineer, you will play a critical role in bridging the gap between Pak Energy’s advanced technology offerings and our customers’ operational needs. You’ll collaborate with Sales, Product, and Professional Services teams to deliver compelling demonstrations, craft tailored solutions, and guide prospects through the technical aspects of the sales cycle.
Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, Business, or related field OR equivalent combination of experience and education.
- 3+ years of experience in Sales Engineering, Solutions Consulting, or Technical Pre‑Sales role.
- Strong understanding of SaaS platforms, cloud technologies, and enterprise software.
- Experience in the energy industry (production environments, SCADA systems, or field operations) is required.
- Excellent collaboration, presentation, and client support.
- Ability to travel up to 25% for client meetings and industry events.
- Proficiency with Petrosight, Merrick, or Prod View (or similar software)
- Familiarity with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce), data visualization platforms, and API integrations.
- Experience with ERP or field operations software in the energy sector.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
- Partner with Account Executives to understand client needs and deliver customized product demonstrations.
- Translate complex technical capabilities into clear business value for energy sector clients.
- Develop and present solution architectures that align with customer workflows and operational goals.
- Serve as a trusted technical advisor throughout the sales process, including RFP responses and proof‑of‑concept engagements.
- Collaborate with Product Management to relay customer feedback and influence roadmap priorities.
- This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities.
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- This position works in an office atmosphere, travels to meet clients, and may work on worksite.
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds at times.
