North America’s leading manufacturer/distributor of fence and deck products is seeking an experienced Outside Sales Professional.
In this role, the Outside Sales Professional will be responsible for driving the sales performance of the company’s fencing, perimeter security, and outdoor living products. You will be making face‑to‑face sales calls with existing and potential customers, building long‑lasting business relationships, and finding new opportunities for growth. The majority of the time will be spent in the field meeting with customers, with one or two days a week working from the branch office to make outbound calls, create quotes and orders, assist customers, and complete day‑to‑day administrative tasks.

- Implement and execute sales growth strategies that are consistent with the company’s strategic plans.
- Develop a culture of creativity in approach to business development.
- Work with Branch Manager to develop and execute sales growth strategies.
- Associate degree (two‑year college or technical school) or work equivalent.
- At least 2 years of experience in sales.
- Internet research skills.
- Ability to use software to create presentations, word documents, and spreadsheets.
- Successful track record of selling in the building materials industry and home center/hardware stores preferred.
- Fence or building materials industry experience desired.
- Ability to travel overnight as needed.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Exceptional customer service skills.
- Excellent sales and negotiation skills.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
