Job Summary
Dermatology Specialty Territory Manager at Lilly, responsible for account-based selling to health care providers who prescribe or influence treatment for dermatology portfolio products.
Key Responsibilities- Build relationships with dermatology professionals in dedicated practices and key hospital accounts, including dermatologists, dermatology fellows, educators, and residents.
- Identify and develop relationships with state and local advocacy groups, teaching institutions, key influencers, and managed care organizations.
- Develop a strong understanding of territory and reimbursement landscape and use business insights tools to adapt to business needs.
- Navigates the changing healthcare environment to understand accounts and key stakeholders, becoming a trusted partner.
- Actively listen and adapt to customer prompts, promoting the entire product portfolio with patient‑centered dialogue.
- Utilize the selling model before and during conversations to help customers identify appropriate patients.
- Utilize all business analytic resources to meet customer needs and achieve sales goals while following internal policies, procedures, and PhRMA code.
- Collaborate effectively with field‑facing and internal peers to create a coordinated and positive customer experience.
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Professional certification or license required by state, if applicable.
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
- Authorized to work in the United States on a full‑time basis.
- Two or more years of sales experience (pharmaceutical or non‑pharmaceutical) after completing an undergraduate degree.
- Demonstrated business ownership skills, selling/customer experience skills, and execution/results.
- Account‑based selling experience; ability to identify and engage staff members in accounts.
- Strong background navigating complex integrated health systems.
- Understanding of specialty pharmacy distribution model and experience with injectable/infusion molecules in a complex reimbursement environment.
- History working with multiple cross‑functional partners.
- Strong learning agility, self‑motivation, team focus, emotional intelligence, and influence.
- Must live within 30 miles of the territory boundary.
- Additional experience after completion of undergraduate degree, or graduate degree (e.g., Masters, MBA, PharmD).
Annual salary range: $87,000 – $159,500. Eligible for company bonus (dependent upon company and individual performance).
