Dermatology Specialty Territory Manager (Sales)
OverviewLilly is a global healthcare leader committed to helping people with autoimmune diseases. The Dermatology Specialty Territory Manager will focus on account‑based selling of Lilly’s dermatology portfolio to health‑care providers, driving adoption of new and existing therapies in a competitive market.
Responsibilities- Develop a deep understanding of the territory and reimbursement landscape, using business insight tools to adapt to changing needs.
- Navigate the healthcare environment to understand accounts and influence key stakeholders, becoming a trusted partner.
- Actively listen and adapt to verbal and non‑verbal customer prompts throughout the call.
- Demonstrate high learning agility to understand clinical information, product portfolio, and the therapeutic marketplace; use this information to engage every member of an office/account.
- Promote the entire product portfolio by planning patient‑centered dialogues with customers.
- Apply Lilly’s selling model before and during conversations to help customers identify appropriate patients.
- Utilize all available business analytic resources to meet customer needs and achieve sales goals while adhering to internal policies and the PhRMA code.
- Collaborate effectively with field‑facing and internal peers to create a coordinated, positive customer experience.
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Professional certification or license required to perform in this position if required by a specific state.
- Valid U.S. driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
- Authorized to work in the United States on a full‑time basis. Lilly will not provide sponsorship or support for work authorization or visas.
- At least two years of sales experience (pharmaceutical or non‑pharmaceutical) after completing an undergraduate degree.
- Additional educational or work experience beyond an undergraduate degree, such as a Master’s, MBA, or Pharm
D. - Demonstrated business ownership, selling/customer experience, and execution/results skills.
- Account‑based selling experience with the ability to engage staff members in accounts.
- Strong background in navigating complex integrated health systems.
- Extensive experience with or deep understanding of the specialty pharmacy distribution model.
- Experience selling injectable/infusion molecules in a complex reimbursement environment.
- History of working with multiple cross‑functional partners.
- Strong learning agility, self‑motivation, teamwork, emotional intelligence, and influence.
- Residence within 30 miles of the territory boundary.
- Annual salary range: $87,000 – $159,500.
- Full‑time employees may be eligible for a company bonus based on performance.
