The Sales Associate sets the standard of quality in eye care and eyewear by ensuring every patient and customer has the best experience in Lens Crafters every time. The role helps establish Lens Crafters as the premier destination for all vision needs in the community.

• Consistently deliver sales plan and company objectives through cultivating existing customer relationships and building new ones.
• Utilizes optical prescriptions to recommend specific lenses and lens coatings.
• Assist patients in the selection of frames and coordinate frames with optical measurements to help customers choose the right vision solution.
• Conduct measurements using appropriate optical tools and consult with an Optician as needed.
• Contribute to a positive store environment and foster professional relationships with peers, management, doctors and support staff.
• Maintain appearance of the store and keep displays and inventory clean, attractive and organized.
• Foster an inclusive culture by treating customers and colleagues with respect.

• High School Diploma or GED
• 1+ years of experience in retail or customer service
• Familiarity with point-of-sale systems, computers and calculators with basic math and phone skills
• Ability to adapt to new technology with a high level of accuracy
• Ability to sell using sales skills and accountability for sales results, with a desire to meet goals
• Strong communication skills (oral and written)
• Self-motivated with the ability to multi-task in a quickly changing environment
