POSITION SUMMARY

The Market Analyst supports Transactions and Business Development teams by providing research on tracked aircraft markets, keeping online aircraft market system current while communicating with members of the brokerage community. Other support will include providing market data to inquiring brokers, assistance gathering information and assisting in developing marketing specifications, presentations, report creation, and client interaction.

This is an in-office position located in Frisco, TX.

DESIRED EXPERIENCE / SKILLS
  • Undergraduate degree in aviation management, aviation flight, business, finance or economics, a plus.
  • 3+ years corporate aviation experience with a concentration on Aircraft Market Research or brokerage knowledge, a plus.
  • 2+ years Aviation Sales, Operations Management, Aviation Lending, and Client Relationship Management of both large corporations and high net worth individuals, a plus.
  • Past experience in customer-focused role of listening/understanding/servicing customer needs, a plus.
  • In‑depth knowledge / experience reading and interpreting aircraft specifications.
  • Experience with current / legacy aircraft platforms in the jet and turboprop markets.
  • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills and demonstrated leadership ability. Must be a confident presenter and comfortable in public speaking situations. Familiarity with Customer Account Management (CRM) automation, such as Sales Force and other systems, a plus.
  • Proven interpersonal skills ‑ Ability to communicate and work closely with team, both in‑person and remotely. Ability to interact with clients at all levels.
  • Highly motivated team player who understands a service environment and culture, where attitude and work ethic matters.
  • Capable of organizing, facilitating, leading and negotiating with a team of associates to solve client needs.
  • Requires minimal direction, with heavy responsibility for final results.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and aviation‑related online services.
  • Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment while maintaining a high attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to train incoming researcher.
  • Results‑oriented team player who leads by example, holds him or herself accountable for performance, takes absolute ownership and champions all aspects of the business development process.
  • Knowledge of industry trends and/or current and future regulatory requirements desired.
  • Curious nature with desire to learn and share knowledge with team.
  • Willingness to travel – 25%
