Assistant Director of Security – Retail

Marksman Security Corporation is now seeking an Assistant Director of Security in Frisco, TX. The role assists with overseeing security personnel, ensuring the site is properly staffed and officers are trained and motivated, and works closely with the client contact to achieve goals and objectives set by Marksman Security.

$42,900 p/yr

Ideal candidates will have previous experience in corrections, law enforcement, military security, account management, armed or unarmed guard/officer experience, and other related fields.

• Interact with all guests (clients, residents and visitors) in a professional demeanor
• Foster client relationships through continuous communication and support
• Develop and implement site-specific security policies to successfully execute contract
• Ensure officers are performing all assigned duties including but not limited to timesheets, daily logs, activity and incident reports
• Review and verify all reports and logs for accuracy
• Address and rectify all employee relation and payroll concerns in a timely manner
• Recruit, hire and train officers to ensure operational performance and coverage is met
• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance (uniform and equipment)
• Utilize approved security equipment (CCTV, radios, computers/tablets, etc.)
• Effectively communicate all pertinent information to team in a timely manner
• Manage security personnel including but not limited to scheduling, counseling and/or disciplinary actions when necessary
• Other duties to be determined by management

• Must be at least 21 years of age
• High School Diploma or equivalent, Bachelors degree preferred
• Minimum of three years previous security supervision or leadership experience required
• Flexible/on‑call schedule availability
• Professional demeanor and appearance
• Excellent computer skills
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
• Attentive to detail
• Must be able to multi task in a fast‑paced environment
• Previous experience utilizing security equipment and protocols required
• Must be able to pass pre‑employment screening (background and drug)
• Must have a level 2 security license
