SERVPRO of South Frisco is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Content Technician to support contents restoration operations on residential and commercial loss sites. This role is responsible for assisting with pack-outs and pack-backs, cleaning and inventorying customer belongings, and ensuring SERVPRO’s high standards of quality, safety, and customer service are met.
Key Responsibilities Contents Restoration Operations- Perform contents restoration tasks including pack-outs, cleaning, storage, and pack-backs
- Assess damaged contents and follow appropriate restoration methods as directed
- Accurately inventory, label, document, and photograph customer belongings
- Assist with contents cleaning (on-site and off-site), deodorization, and storage procedures
- Handle customer contents with care and help return items to pre-loss condition whenever possible
- Work closely with supervisors and team members to complete jobs efficiently
- Follow daily work assignments and meet productivity expectations
- Comply with SERVPRO standards, safety protocols, and company policies
- Communicate effectively with team members regarding job progress and needs
- Interact professionally and empathetically with customers during stressful situations
- Answer basic customer questions regarding contents handling and restoration processes
- Represent the SERVPRO brand positively on every job site
- Complete job documentation accurately and on time (inventory lists, job notes, photos)
- Coordinate with production management and office staff as needed
- Perform work in accordance with industry standards (IICRC guidelines when applicable)
- Follow all safety procedures and properly use required PPE
- Assist in maintaining contents cleaning equipment, vehicles, and storage areas
- Report equipment issues or safety concerns promptly
- High school diploma or equivalent (required)
- Previous experience in contents restoration, moving, warehousing, or cleaning preferred
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to lift, carry, and move contents (up to 50 lbs)
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Comfortable using mobile apps, inventory systems, and basic computer programs
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Problem-solving mindset
- Professional, dependable, and team-oriented
- On-call availability may be required for emergency response
- Work performed in residential and commercial properties affected by water, fire, or mold damage
