About the Position
GEA Group, located in Frisco, TX, is searching for a Facilities Technician to join our growing team. The Facilities Tech is part of a small team responsible for maintenance of the office facilities, warehouse, shop areas and grounds.

- Assisting in the maintenance of office and facility equipment, furniture, fittings and fixtures, including coordinating with vendors
- Perform routine inspections of facility‑related equipment and assigned work areas to support safe and efficient operations
- Respond to internal requests related to facility or service‑center equipment, fixtures, or work areas within assigned scope
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure facility work areas are prepared for scheduled maintenance, builds, audits, or operational activities
- Assist with facility setup, teardown, or reconfiguration activities required to support service operations, projects, or special events
- Support Facilities or Operations teams by safely escorting contractors or internal personnel when required, in accordance with company policy
- Work in the Technology Center and Tool Shop as required
- Other duties and tasks as assigned
- High School diploma or equivalent; vocational/trade school a plus
- 5+ years experience as a maintenance mechanic in a commercial environment
- Familiarity and adherence to industry safety standards
- Strong mechanical ability demonstrated by previous experience, testing and interview
- Basic plumbing, carpentry and general maintenance abilities
- Basic computer skills for interoffice communications, maintaining reports, researching parts, diagnostic guides, etc., and work order access via computer
- Good communication skills, strong ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions
- Self‑starter with ability to work in a fast‑paced environment with minimal supervision
- Valid driver’s license
The typical base pay range for this position at the start of employment is expected to be between $30.00 - $34.00 per hour.
Additional rewards may include discretionary bonuses and/or equity awards, depending on skill set, experience, location, qualifications, and other job‑related reasons.
