Up Closets of Collin County, a leading provider of custom closet solutions, is seeking a closet installer assistant to join our team. We are looking for someone passionate about creating functional and beautiful spaces that meet each client's unique needs.
Compensation & Equipment Support:- $15-$20 per hour
- Project onboarding support provided
- Training sessions available to support work quality
- Paid per hour/project as a 1099 contractor or W2 employee
- Flexible scheduling per project. Hours determined by project scope and timing
- Tools, uniforms, vehicle, and equipment provided for project completion
Project-based with growing availability
Job Requirements:- Basic carpentry or construction experience preferred
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lift and carry heavy objects and perform physical tasks as needed
- Maintain a safe and organized work environment
- Assist lead installer with loading, unloading and organizing materials
- Help transport tools and supplies to and from the job site
- Support installing custom closet systems in clients' homes or businesses according to design specifications
- Collaborate with lead installer to ensure timely completion of projects
- Follow company policies and procedures related to installation and customer service
- Learn and develop installation and measurement skills over time
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Carpentry, cabinetry, or technical/vocational training preferred
- Experience assembling or installing furniture preferred
- Background in custom, trim, or cabinet carpentry is a plus
