Apartment Maintenance Technician – Frisco, TX

We are seeking Maintenance Technicians to work with top apartment communities in the Frisco – McKinney area. If you enjoy working hands‑on, have an eye for detail, and take pride in maintaining beautiful living spaces, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain the appearance and functionality of the property.
  • Keep inventory of supplies, replacement parts, and equipment.
  • Ensure compliance with local codes and regulations.
  • Perform preventive maintenance and identify safety hazards.
  • Troubleshoot and complete necessary repairs throughout the community.
  • Power wash halls, breezeways, entries, and parking lots.
  • Complete resident service orders promptly.
  • Repair and replace plumbing, electrical fixtures, toilets, ceiling fans, garbage disposals, and more.
  • Install, remove, and repair doors, window frames, and locks.
  • Assist with apartment make‑readies, including trash removal, caulking, grout work, appliance checks, and smoke detector maintenance.
  • Perform interior and exterior touch‑up painting as needed.
  • Follow all safety policies and procedures.
  • Maintain clean and organized common areas, including pools and shared spaces.
  • Support the Maintenance Supervisor as needed.

Required

Skills & Qualifications
  • Minimum 1 year of maintenance experience in a related role.
  • Proficiency with hand and power tools.
  • Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, drywall, painting, carpentry, tile work, and appliance installation/repairs.
  • Strong attention to detail with a focus on safety.
  • Ability to multitask, stay organized, and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills with coworkers, residents, and vendors.
Technical & Educational Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent (required).
  • Some college or technical school (preferred).
Physical Demands & Working Conditions
  • Ability to stand, walk, and use stairs frequently.
  • Ability to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl as needed.
  • Must be able to lift 50+ pounds.
Other Requirements
  • Valid, non‑expired driver’s license or state‑issued .
  • Reliable transportation.
  • Must own and be able to use hand and power tools.
  • Ability to work indoors and outdoors in various climate conditions.
  • Must have proper attire and accessories for different weather conditions and job duties.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus, but not required.
