Role Overview

This position involves maintaining roadways, turf, and safety components within designated areas.

Key duties include removing litter and debris, performing turf and erosion repairs, pavement repairs, and minor construction.

Responsibilities extend to assisting with inspections, responding to emergencies, and supporting safety and appearance improvements.

The role requires operating various equipment such as mowers, trucks, forklifts, loaders, and snow removal tools.

Additional tasks include lane closures, installing and repairing signs, pavement markings, and safety barriers.

Responding to weather-related emergencies, especially snow and ice events, is essential.

The position involves applying herbicides and maintaining traffic control devices under supervision.

Performing turf maintenance, inspecting equipment, and supporting special projects are also part of the role.

Minimum requirements include a high school level of knowledge and a valid driver's license or ability to obtain one within 30 days.

No prior experience is necessary.

This is a safety-sensitive and essential position requiring readiness to work during emergencies.
