Role DescriptionThis is a full-time, on-site Licensed Plumber role based in Frisco, TX. The Licensed Plumber will perform installation, maintenance, and repair of plumbing systems in residential and commercial properties, including pipes, fixtures, water heaters, and drainage systems. Daily tasks include diagnosing issues, providing clear explanations of recommended solutions to customers, and completing work in compliance with local codes and safety standards.
The role involves reading and interpreting blueprints, collaborating with team members, maintaining accurate job documentation, and ensuring clean, organized work areas. The Licensed Plumber may also assist with emergency calls, routine inspections, and recommending upgrades or preventive maintenance to clients.
- Current state plumbing license and solid knowledge of residential and commercial plumbing systems.
- Experience installing, repairing, and maintaining piping, fixtures, water heaters, and drainage systems.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation.
- Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and diagnostic skills.
- Commitment to safety practices and adherence to local plumbing codes and regulations.
- Effective communication and customer service skills, with the ability to explain technical issues in clear terms.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing time and tasks efficiently.
- Physical ability to lift equipment, work in confined spaces, and perform tasks that require manual dexterity.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to job sites.
- Prior experience in a plumbing service environment; additional certifications (e.g., backflow prevention, gas piping) are a plus.
