The Commercial Engineering Organization within Thomson Reuters is looking to add a strong and experienced Salesforce Engineer to a well-established global engineering team. This position requires someone who is a passionate about technology, a strong team player, and is comfortable working with a variety of people and technology stacks.

As a Salesforce Engineer
, you will:
- Have an understanding of the Salesforce platform and its various components (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, etc.). Familiarity with Salesforce architecture (multi‑tenant architecture, metadata, etc.).
- Have knowledge in Salesforce CPQ / Conga CPQ.
- Experience with point-and-click tools (Flow, etc.) for creating automation without code, Reports & Dashboards.
- Have an understanding of REST and SOAP APIs for integrating Salesforce with other systems. Familiarity with tools like Postman for testing API calls.
- Have an understanding of Visualforce pages and their use in custom UI development. Familiarity with Lightning Web Components (LWC) and Aura components.
- Have an understanding of the Salesforce release cycle and change management processes (Sandboxes, change sets, etc.).
- Have basic knowledge of version control systems (like Git) for code management.
- Apply experience with tools like Data Loader, Workbench, and third‑party integration tools (e.g., Mule Soft, Zapier).
- Effectively deliver technical deliverables such as technical design documentation, documentation of implementation, and contribute to best practices.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, learning, innovation, development, and deployment.
- Work with Technical Leads and Architects on solution development estimates, including technical planning, refinement, and dependencies.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional and product teams, internal/external technical experts, Architects and third parties.
- Must have 2+ years of experience with Conga CPQ.
- 3‑5 years in driving the technical implementation of solutions to meet business expectations using Salesforce Sales Cloud, APEX, Visualforce, Lightning, LWC, Process Automation.
- Strong experience with Salesforce, Sales Cloud, Apex customization, Integration.
- Strong experience with CPQ domain.
- Experience implementing with Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning.
- Design, development, and scaling of REST API.
- Hands‑on experience with security vulnerability scanning tools.
- Working experience with Git.

Base compensation ranges vary by location. For U.S. locations, base pay ranges from $76,200 to $141,400 (USD). For Canada (Ontario), the range is $82,100 to $132,100 (CAD). Additional annual bonuses may be awarded based on performance.
