Toddler; -3 and Elementary; Teachers

Mountain Laurel Montessori School seeking a certified Toddler (0-3) and an Elementary (6-12) teacher for the upcoming school year. Our 12-acre, wooded campus was established in 1989 and serves children ages 18 months through 8th grade. We have two Toddler classrooms, two Primary classrooms, two Elementary classrooms, and a Middle School program.

You will guide children in a thoughtfully prepared Montessori classroom, fostering independence, curiosity, and a lifelong love of learning. This role requires a deep respect for each child’s unique development and a commitment to authentic Montessori principles.

• Prepare and maintain an engaging Montessori classroom environment
• Deliver individualized and small-group lessons aligned with Montessori philosophy
• Observe, assess, and support each child’s developmental progress
• Foster a nurturing, respectful, and inclusive classroom culture
• Communicate effectively with parents and staff
• Collaborate with colleagues to support a cohesive school community

• AMI Montessori certification
• Experience working with children in a Montessori setting preferred
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Patience, creativity, and a genuine passion for development of the whole child
