CORE COMPETENCIES OFPOSITIONDUTIES Regulatory Compliance &Personnel Case Administration
  • Administers and ensures compliance with applicable federal, state, and Agency regulations including ADA, FMLA, FOIA, OSHA, DBHDS, and related statutory requirements.
  • Manages accommodation processes, leave determinations, grievance procedures, regulatory reporting, and record retention in accordance with established standards.
Employee Relations & Investigations
  • Receives and addresses employee relations concerns, conducts workplace investigations, prepares findings, and supports resolution processes consistent with Agency policy and regulatory requirements.
Personnel Administration & Payroll Support
  • Processes andmaintainspersonnel actions and payroll-related documentation to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance.
Recruitment & Onboarding
  • Supports full-cycle recruitment and onboarding activities to ensuretimelyand compliant hiring practices.
Benefits & Leave Administration
  • Administers benefits and leave programs in compliance with regulatory and Agency standards.
Reporting, Analytics & Audit Support
  • Prepares and reviewsrequiredinternal and external reports.
  • Supports audit readiness and data integrity initiatives.
Training, Consultation & Organizational Support
  • Supports employee engagement, training, and internal consultation activities aligned with Agency standards.
MARGINAL FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB

5% Performs related duties as requiredordeemedappropriate tothe accomplishment of the responsibilities and functions related to this position or in support of departmental and agency goals.

Received:
This position reports directly to the Human Resources Director.

Exercised:
This position does not supervise.

NORMAL WORK SCHEDULE

This positionmaintainsa regularin-office schedule of Monday – Friday, 8:00AM –4:30PM; however, the schedule may be adjusted upon request of the incumbent or needs of the agency at the discretion of the supervisor or program director.

As an FLSA exempt position, the position isnotsubject to overtime earnings according to the laws and regulations of both the Commonwealth of Virginia and United States.
