We are seeking dependable individuals to join our new two‑year‑old facility in Front Royal, Virginia. Reporting directly to the Warehouse Manager and Supervisor, the Shipping & Receiving Dock Operator will ensure safe, accurate staging, loading, and unloading of food products at both cold and ambient docks using a forklift truck. The role will also assist on daily cycle counts.
Responsibilities- Stage pallets with food product in the freezer.
- Check and count freight for accuracy.
- Take stock counts as needed.
- Direct product to the correct area in the warehouse.
- Load and unload refrigerated truck loads.
- Load and unload ambient‑dry truck loads.
- Ensure the integrity and accuracy of inventory data.
- Assist on daily cycle counts.
- Promote safety first by following all safety protocols.
- Must be able to work in a negative 10°F cold storage environment.
- Forklift certified.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Experience with food products.
- Inventory experience for cycle counting.
- Experience with scanning, WMS, and warehouse layout.
- Excellent organizational and time‑management skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Bilingual is a plus.
- Full‑time, on‑site position at Front Royal, VA.
- Schedule:
Monday to Friday, second shift 2:45 pm‑11:15 pm. - Second‑shift differential: $1.00 per hour.
- Fast‑paced manufacturing environment with regular exposure to cold temperatures, loud machinery, and strict food‑safety protocols.
- Requires frequent standing, walking, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
