Part‑Time Maintenance Worker – Parks & Recreation Department
Warren County is seeking highly motivated and skilled candidates to fill this position.
This role is responsible for semiskilled work in a variety of parks, landscape and utilities construction, maintenance, and repair projects; occasionally operates non‑specialized equipment in connection with manual tasks, does related work as required. Work is performed under regular supervision.
Other duties include routine maintenance and basic repairs including doors, locks, drywall, flooring, plumbing, and other general building repairs. Replace light bulbs, filters, batteries and other routine maintenance items. Complete painting and minor carpentry projects as needed. Maintain lawns, landscaping, and outdoor areas to ensure property appearance and safety. Clean and organize work areas, equipment, and maintenance rooms. Move furniture, equipment, and supplies as necessary.
Maintain and track tools, equipment, and inventory supplies. Follow all safety procedures and promptly report hazards, damages, or maintenance concerns.
Qualification:
Any combination of education and experience equivalent to graduation from high school and possession of an appropriate driver’s license valid in the Commonwealth of Virginia is required.
Required:
