We are looking for an experienced industrial Maintenance Technician with strong electrical experience. The primary responsibilities will be to support production by repairing, maintaining, and improving process equipment in a multi-craft environment. This position will work Monday - Sunday on a 4x10-hour rotational schedule, 6:30am - 4:45pm and does require occasional overtime, emergency call in and on call assignments. The successful candidate will have an exceptional safety focus, strong technical aptitude with PLC experience.

The starting pay for this position is $36.17 - $39.65/hour depending on experience, with opportunity for further advancement.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure safety procedures are always followed, be SAFE and promote safety consciousness to all Toray and non-Toray personnel. Quickly propose and/or implement any safety improvements and perform all work in a safe and efficient manner.
• Performs preventative maintenance on mechanical/electrical systems and components on production equipment.
• High level of electrical troubleshooting with a strong knowledge of all electrical testing equipment. Must be able to safely troubleshoot and repair electrical circuits and equipment from 480 VAC to low voltage controls. PLC experience highly preferred.
• Complete daily shop work to include welding, lathe and mill operation, rigging, etc.
• Must be able to read and understand electrical schematics and diagrams.
• Must be able to install electrical components, circuits, and install and program AC/DC drives and temperature controllers.
• Must be able to perform complex mechanical repairs using instructions, documents and equipment manuals.

Requirements:

• Successful candidate must meet the minimum internal criteria of M4 core competencies up to the M5 level based on experience.
• Must have a strong safety focus
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. on a repetitive basis; must be able to stand/bend/reach/twist and stand for long periods of time.
• Able to work required, mandatory overtime, support shutdowns, emergency call ins and on call assignments. Must be able to report within 1 hour of being notified.
• Demonstrated self-motivation and ability to perform tasks with little or no supervision
• Proven ability to solve problems and initiate repairs with little direction while working safely and adhering to all safety protocols
• Ability to partner with maintenance and production teams regarding maintenance and repair of equipment and be a resource in support of the production process.
• PLC troubleshooting preferred.
• Strong mechanical skills and aptitude.
• Commitment to continuous learning and willingness to take training classes.
• Good writing, communication and computer skills
• High School Diploma or GED Equivalent required with at least 5 years of industrial manufacturing maintenance experience. Industrial Electrician license preferred
