Solid Waste Equipment Operator- Part Time

COUNTY OF WARREN
SOLID WASTE EQUIPMENT OPERATOR - PART TIME

Warren County is seeking highly motivated and skilled candidates to fill the position of Solid Waste Equipment Operator. This is a part‑time position that performs difficult work in the operation of a variety of construction equipment at the County Transfer Station.

• Loading solid waste with a rubber tire loader
• Operating dolly trucks, tractors, front‑end loaders, bush hogs, etc.
• Assisting with lawn maintenance to include mowing and weed‑eating
• Assisting the Solid Waste Manager in the supervision of operations and staff

• Equivalent to high‑school graduation and extensive experience in the operation of motorized equipment
• CDL or ability to obtain a CDL
• Ability to obtain certification as a Class I Waste Management Facility Operator
• Basic computer knowledge preferred

Hourly rate: $18.85.
