Truck Driver CDL A Regional Solo

Position Description

Ryder is hiring a Class A CDL Truck Driver in Front Royal, VA. The role offers weekly pay with an estimated weekly salary of $1,505 or more, a schedule from Sunday to Friday with no weekends, and start times between 9pm and 11pm.

Compensation details:

• Driver Positions Pay Weekly
• Solo Miles Pay: $0.65 per mile with 2,200 miles per week
• Sign on bonuses: $1,250 paid at 30 days and $1,250 paid at 90 days

• 36 month or newer trucks

• Minimum 21 years of age
• Pass a Ryder drug test, background and motor vehicle check, DOT physical, and Ryder road test
• Provide appropriate CDL and endorsements
• Class A verifiable experience in a tractor trailer or comparable vehicle: at least 9 months experience within the past 3 years, OR 2 years' experience within the last 5 years, OR 5 years' experience within the last 10 years
• Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions
• Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations, policies and/or procedures

• Ensure compliance with applicable federal and/or state laws, regulations, and agency rules, standards, and guidelines
• Detect and eliminate or minimize safety hazards; maintain accurate records and logs
• Load/unload freight or assist in the loading/unloading of freight if required by customer
• Perform other duties as assigned
