Truck Driver CDL Off Weekends

Position Description

Ryder is hiring a Class A CDL Truck Driver in Front Royal, VA.

• Pay: $1505 or more per week
• Solo mile pay: $0.65 per mile with 2200 miles per week
• Sign‑on bonus: $1250 at 30 days and $1250 at 90 days
• Paid training
• Schedule:
  
  Sunday – Friday (no weekends)
• Start time: 9:00 pm – 11:00 pm

• Regions: VA, PA, MD, OH, CT, NY, ME, DE, NC, NJ
• Route:
  Regional
• Tractor type:
  Sleeper
• Trailer types: dry van, reefer, 53′
• Freight: no‑touch food
• Endorsements:
  Hazmat (preferred)
• Auto restriction: accommodated

• Minimum 21 years of age
• Pass a Ryder drug test
• Pass a Ryder background and motor vehicle check (3‑year verification)
• Pass a DOT physical
• Pass a Ryder road test
• Provide appropriate CDL and endorsements
• Class A verifiable experience: 9 months in past 3 years, 2 years in past 5 years, or 5 years in past 10 years
• Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions
• Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations, policies, and procedures

• Ensure compliance with applicable federal and state laws and regulations
• Detect and eliminate or minimize safety hazards
• Maintain accurate records and logs
• Load/unload freight or assist with loading/unloading as required
• Perform other duties as assigned
