The Warehouse Manager is responsible for safety, security, and productivity at the Front Royal manufacturing site. The role builds a vision and drives a culture of safety and operational excellence, partnering with other production departments, logistics and supply chain to achieve delivery of our product to key customers.

• Direct management of the warehouse team and ensure safe execution of shipments.
• Accountable for warehouse performance measured through key metrics including productivity, safety, financial, and customer.
• Manage safe, timely, and accurate shipment of all customer and consignment orders.
• Maintain inventory to standard and schedule.
• Ensure compliance with Axalta and local safety requirements, forklift certification and PPE.
• Drive operational excellence by identifying and eliminating problems that impede service or add cost.
• Design improvement programs and work with cross‑functional teams to implement solutions.
• Implement work process best practices, supporting tools, and staffing model to manage cost versus budget at target service level.
• Lead SAP S/4
  
  Hana WM and TM data accuracy, testing, and training for the site team.
• Support sales goals by delivering and improving customer service profitably.
• Answer customer questions and resolve complaints, directly and through delegation.
• Set goals and objectives for site performance aligned with business goals.
• Monitor productivity metrics, design and implement plans to achieve goals.
• Maintain visual boards with productivity, quality, and EHS metrics.
• Conduct root cause analysis for service failures and implement corrective actions.
• Lead team performance reviews, training, safety training, and issue resolution with support from leadership.

• High School diploma or GED required;
  Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• At least 5 years of warehousing/logistics experience; 3 years leading production or warehouse operations.
• Experience in coatings/chemical industry a plus.
• Ability to understand, track, and report on key financial indicators tied to the warehouse.
• Proficiency with computer systems including SAP, Outlook, Microsoft Office.
• Strong understanding of warehousing, transportation, and logistics.
• Knowledge of managing hazardous materials safely.
