Position OverviewWe are seeking a dependable, proactive, and results-driven Warehouse Supervisor to lead operations at our new two-year-old facility in Front Royal, Virginia. Reporting directly to the Warehouse Manager and indirectly to the Facility Manager, this role oversees all aspects of the warehouse with a strong focus on operational efficiency, productivity, safety, and team performance.
As a key member of the leadership team, the Warehouse Supervisor will drive continuous improvement initiatives, foster a collaborative and high-performing work environment, and ensure that warehouse goals are consistently met in alignment with company standards and values. We are looking for a hands‑on leader with an active presence on the warehouse floor, who thrives on developing people, optimizing processes, and making a tangible impact on day‑to‑day operations.
Key Responsibilities- Promote Safety First
- Foster a safe, positive, and productive workplace culture.
- Ensure compliance with food safety and regulatory standards across all operations.
- Team Leadership & Development
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of 11 direct reports and 19 indirect reports across other shifts.
- Provide ongoing training, coaching, and performance management to build strong, engaged teams.
- Train staff in new processes and ensure readiness for operational changes.
- Daily Responsibilities.
- Oversee all aspects of the Freezer Warehouse operations, including inventory management, housekeeping, shipping, receiving, and personnel
- Maintain a safe, secure, and organized work environment by following and enforcing company and legal standards
- Train, develop, and evaluate the performance of the shift warehouse employees
- Provide an open and honest communications atmosphere, and a positive working environment
- Prepare and maintain department reporting and record‑keeping systems
- Ensures adherence and accountability to all material & inventory control policies and procedures
- Make real‑time operational decisions regarding staffing adjustments, equipment issues, safety incidents, and shipment exceptions
- Escalate critical issues to the Warehouse Manager or Facility Manager using established protocols
- Proactively address attendance, productivity, and behavior issues on shift; elevate formal matters to HR as needed
- Driven to guarantee that inbound & outbound shipments are completed timely, received/shipped in full and on time to meet all customers' expectations & standards
- Provides WMS training and support to shift members
- Enforces established warehouse practices and protocols
- Continuous Improvement & Cross‑Functional Collaboration
- Partner with quality assurance, maintenance, and production to support smooth plant operations
- Support budget planning and cost control initiatives
- Participate in development of SOPs, and other continuous improvement initiatives.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in warehousing within the food industry
- Proven leadership and team management capabilities
- Bilingual in English and Spanish (required)
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards

, and SQF - Excellent problem‑solving and decision‑making skills
- Proficiency in WMS programs and reporting tools
- Efficient use of Microsoft Office products, with proficiency with Excel
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Flexibility to work across shifts and adapt to changing priorities.
This is a full‑time, on‑site position based at our Front Royal, VA facility.
The schedule is Monday to Friday, with flexibility required to support both shifts:
- 1st Shift: 6:00 am - 3:00 pm
- 2nd Shift: 2:00 pm - 11:00 pm
Work is performed in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment, with regular exposure to cold temperatures, loud machinery, and strict food safety protocols. The role requires frequent standing, walking, and lifting (up to 50 lbs.)
