Family Health West is looking for a passionate OT to join our growing rehab team. The outpatient rehab department is hiring an Occupational Therapist who is a skilled hand therapist, preferably with CHT credentials.

Family Health West has a robust rehab program for inpatient, outpatient, and pediatric care. We are a rural-based critical access hospital serving a wide variety of patients across Western Colorado. Our outpatient rehab department has a comprehensive team of therapists within the PT, OT, and SLP disciplines with an experienced staff who are serious about patient-centered care and great outcomes, along with excellent customer service.

Candidates for this position can expect a team-based atmosphere and clinical autonomy. We have great relationships with our multidisciplinary teams as well as our referring physicians.

Outpatient therapy workflows include 45-minute visits one-on-one with your patient with extra time for new patients and custom splinting applications. You’ll have strong support from rehab aide staff and a friendly and courteous front desk team to meet our patients’ needs. Our salary ranges are competitive, and we provide opportunities for merit pay incentives as well as a sign-on or relocation bonus.

If you are interested in a small-town atmosphere where we focus on the patient’s needs while working a therapist-friendly schedule, and have support from staff and management, then this is the place for you. Candidates should have a strong skillset in hand based care of patients needing post-operative and non-operative care of upper extremity injuries, including custom splinting applications. CHT credentials are preferred, but therapists with experience in this area working towards CHT certification are encouraged to apply as well.
