Lab Technician – Beverage Production

Express Employment Professionals is currently hiring a Lab Technician for a well-established local beverage production company. If you're detail-oriented, enjoy working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, and have an interest in quality assurance, we'd love to hear from you!

Pay & Schedule
  • Pay: $16.50/hour
  • Schedule:

    (Every other Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday)
  • Shift: Day Shift | 5:00 AM – 5:00 PM
  • Position Type:
    Temporary (6 months)
  • Opportunity to become a permanent employee after as few as 30 working days, based on attendance and performance.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • College-level science coursework preferred
  • Ability to read, write, and understand instructions and procedures in English
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks
  • Basic computer skills
  • Strong math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division)
  • Excellent troubleshooting and critical thinking abilities
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to produce consistent and accurate results
Responsibilities

As a Lab Technician, you will play an important role in maintaining product quality and ensuring production standards are met.

Duties include:

  • Work under the supervision of the Quality Supervisor
  • Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), including proper use of hairnets, beard nets, and sanitation procedures
  • Perform quality testing on beverages and raw materials throughout the production process
  • Verify, calibrate, and maintain laboratory equipment to ensure accurate testing
  • Monitor, record, and report production processes and equipment trends
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation
  • Conduct quality system audits
  • Identify, isolate, and document nonconforming materials or products (Quality Holds)
  • Communicate effectively with Quality Assurance staff, Syrup Technicians, Production Supervisors, Maintenance, and other departments
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient laboratory workspace
  • Participate in ongoing training and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Follow all safety procedures and maintain a safe work environment
