Lab Technician – Beverage Production
Express Employment Professionals is currently hiring a Lab Technician for a well-established local beverage production company. If you're detail-oriented, enjoy working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, and have an interest in quality assurance, we'd love to hear from you!
Pay & Schedule- Pay: $16.50/hour
- Schedule:
(Every other Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday) - Shift: Day Shift | 5:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Position Type:
Temporary (6 months) - Opportunity to become a permanent employee after as few as 30 working days, based on attendance and performance.
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- College-level science coursework preferred
- Ability to read, write, and understand instructions and procedures in English
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks
- Basic computer skills
- Strong math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division)
- Excellent troubleshooting and critical thinking abilities
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to produce consistent and accurate results
As a Lab Technician, you will play an important role in maintaining product quality and ensuring production standards are met.
Duties include:
- Work under the supervision of the Quality Supervisor
- Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), including proper use of hairnets, beard nets, and sanitation procedures
- Perform quality testing on beverages and raw materials throughout the production process
- Verify, calibrate, and maintain laboratory equipment to ensure accurate testing
- Monitor, record, and report production processes and equipment trends
- Maintain accurate records and documentation
- Conduct quality system audits
- Identify, isolate, and document nonconforming materials or products (Quality Holds)
- Communicate effectively with Quality Assurance staff, Syrup Technicians, Production Supervisors, Maintenance, and other departments
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient laboratory workspace
- Participate in ongoing training and continuous improvement initiatives
- Follow all safety procedures and maintain a safe work environment
