- Develop implement and maintain the RFFS training and proficiency check programme in line with GCAA CAR-AGA requirements
- Plan and deliver initial recurrent and refresher training for all RFFS personnel
- Conduct proficiency assessments and maintain accurate training and competency records
- Ensure training meets GCAA ICAO and national regulatory requirements and support regulatory audits and inspections
- Review and update training material lesson plans and assessment methods in line with regulatory changes and industry best practice
- Plan and evaluate live fire practical and emergency exercises
- Identify training needs and support the development of RFFS staff including supervisors and new joiners
- Liaise with the GCAA internal departments and external training providers
- Recognised qualifications in RFFS management, emergency management or a related field
- Proven experience in a supervisory or managerial role within an aviation RFFS or equivalent emergency services environment
- Instructor and assessor qualifications in developing and delivering training programmes and proficiency assessments, with an understanding of adult learning principles and assessment methods
- Sound knowledge of GCAA regulations, ICAO SARPs, national regulations and industry best practice for RFFS operations and training
- Strong communication, reporting and record-keeping skills
- Fluent in English;
Arabic is an advantage - UAE aviation experience and familiarity with GCAA CAR-AGA is preferred
