We are hiring for an Assistant Finance Manager job in Dubai to support our client’s financial operations within the HVAC and MEP contracting industry. The ideal candidate will oversee accounting activities, manage financial reporting, maintain banking relationships, and support strategic financial planning. This role requires strong UAE finance experience, leadership skills, and the ability to ensure compliance, accuracy, and efficient financial performance across the organization.
Responsibilities- Manage day‑to‑day accounting operations, ensuring all financial transactions are accurately recorded and maintained in accordance with company policies and accounting standards.
- Oversee accounts receivable and accounts payable processes to ensure timely collections and payments while maintaining healthy cash flow.
- Prepare annual financial reports and ensure all financial documentation is completed accurately and submitted within required timelines.
- File FTA returns on time and ensure full compliance with UAE tax regulations and statutory requirements.
- Manage relationships with banks and financial institutions, including overseeing credit facilities, banking operations, and funding requirements.
- Review and negotiate contracts to ensure financial viability, minimize risk, and support profitable business growth.
- Monitor financial performance and assist management in maintaining efficient financial operations within the organization.
- Maintain proper financial records and documentation to support audits, reporting requirements, and regulatory compliance.
- Collaborate with internal teams and management to support financial planning and operational decision‑making.
- 10–12 years of finance experience in the UAE
, including at least 5 years of experience in the trading industry
. - Self‑starter with the ability to work independently and take initiative in managing financial responsibilities.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and guide finance team members effectively.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to coordinate with management, clients, and external stakeholders.
- Strong problem‑solving and analytical abilities to address financial challenges and improve operational efficiency.
- Proven team management capabilities with experience in supervising finance teams and coordinating tasks.
- UAE Driving License is mandatory.
