Day to Day

As a Culinary Intern, you will support daily food production, assist with mise en place, ensure proper storage of ingredients, and maintain hygiene standards. This role provides practical experience in menu preparation, quality control, and understanding operational workflow within a hotel kitchen.

Responsibilities
  • Assist chefs in food preparation and basic cooking tasks
  • Support daily mise en place and kitchen organization
  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in accordance with food safety regulations
  • Follow instructions and recipes accurately
  • Ensure proper storage and labelling of ingredients
  • Assist in receiving and storing kitchen supplies
  • Comply with hotel policies and health & safety standards
  • Perform any additional tasks assigned by the Chef or Sous Chef
Qualifications
  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Hospitality, Culinary Arts, or any related field.
  • Previous experience/on job training in a similar position
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and as part of a team.
  • Positive attitude, strong attention to detail, and eagerness to learn.
  • Have the ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and/or holidays
