Carpenter in Haur-Fakkan, UAE
We are looking for a motivated Carpenter to join our team in Haur-Fakkan. The successful candidate will be responsible for the construction, installation, and repair of wooden structures and fixtures in residential and commercial buildings.
The ideal candidate should have a strong knowledge of carpentry principles, good problem solving skills, physical stamina, and the ability to read blueprints and drawings. A valid driver’s license is also preferred.
Responsibilities- Constructing frameworks and other structures using a variety of materials such as wood, metal, plastic etc.
- Installing doors, windows, shelves, cabinets and other furniture according to specifications
- Repairing furniture and other objects by replacing damaged parts or reinforcing joints
- Creating custom pieces such as cabinets or tables by following client instructions
- Measuring materials accurately using measuring tools
- Maintaining tools in good condition
- Complying with safety regulations at all times
- Ensuring the worksite is clean at all times
- High school diploma or equivalent certification is preferred
- Minimum two years of experience working in carpentry
- Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail
- Ability to read technical diagrams and blueprints
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
