Electrical Technician

The Electrical Technician role is a full-time, on-site position based in Fujairah Emirate, United Arab Emirates. The selected candidate will perform routine and scheduled electrical maintenance on marine and industrial systems, ensuring electrical equipment and installations operate safely and reliably. Daily responsibilities include diagnosing and troubleshooting electrical faults, supporting repairs and replacements, and assisting with upgrades and modifications in line with technical standards and company procedures.

The role involves working closely with engineering and operations teams, following safety protocols, maintaining accurate maintenance records, and supporting compliance with relevant maritime and industry regulations. The technician may also participate in inspections, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems on vessels and related facilities.

• Candidates should possess strong skills in Electrical Maintenance and working knowledge of Electricity principles.
• Candidates should possess solid Troubleshooting abilities for diagnosing and resolving electrical issues.
• Candidates should possess foundational knowledge in Electrical Engineering for marine or industrial environments.
• Candidates should possess hands-on experience with Electrical Equipment, including installation, testing, and repair.
• Relevant technical diploma or certification in electrical or marine engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• Understanding of safety standards, lockout/tagout procedures, and compliance with industry regulations.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and technical manuals.
• Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and ability to work both independently and within a team.
• Previous experience in maritime, oil and gas, or heavy industrial environments is an advantage.
• Effective communication skills in English; additional regional language skills are beneficial.
