Salary Range: $4,047 - $4,295 per month |
Work Schedule: Monday
- Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM; occasional early morning, evening and/or weekend hours.
The Kinesiology Department within the Division of Academic Affairs requires a dedicated administrative professional to coordinate operations, support the department chair and faculty, and manage program and event logistics. The role involves scheduling, personnel coordination, budget tracking, database maintenance, procurement, and event planning across the KHS joint complex.
Duties and Responsibilities- Coordinate course scheduling and personnel matters for instructors and graduate assistants.
- Handle procurement, requisitions, account monitoring, and travel budgets.
- Maintain databases, develop reports, and coordinate graduate program inquiries.
- Plan and coordinate Kinesiology department events and joint projects with Public Health.
- Support KHS complex facilities and equipment maintenance and serve as backup timekeeper.
- Collaborate with college and campus offices, managing multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent and at least two years of general office, clerical or administrative support experience.
- Strong knowledge of university policies, procedures, and infrastructure.
- Excellent written communication skills, including grammar, punctuation, and spelling.
- Proficiency with office systems and technology packages.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and apply policies where guidelines are lacking.
- Working knowledge of budgetary policies and procedures.
- Skills in business math, ratio/percentage calculations, and basic projections.
- Competence in drafting correspondence and standard reports.
- Effective interpersonal communication with a wide range of stakeholders.
- Valid background check, including criminal records check.
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four‑year institution.
- Experience with developing or evaluating administrative policies, procedures or programs.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, Adobe, Dropbox, OBIEE, 25
Live, and CMS scheduling/financial reporting systems.
