.8 FTE Multnomah County Health Department is seeking candidates for this position. This position will perform a wide variety of responsible and complex support functions under the direction of the Multnomah County Health Department Director’s Office.
Responsibilities- Maintenance of records.
- Coordination and scheduling of meetings.
- Preparing minutes.
- Coordinating a variety of clerical activities.
- Retaining and updating information for the department.
- Posting legislative responses and retaining legislative reports.
- Assisting in the coordination of the semi‑annual departmental directory, including communication of updates to 211 (Community Services Directory) and other community partners as directed.
- Coordinating the departmental volunteer program, including tracking and maintaining volunteer hours and revising volunteer packets in accordance with current policy and procedure.
- Providing occasional back‑up support to the department receptionist.
Qualified candidates will have excellent organizational and customer service skills as well as superior attention to detail. Desirable candidates will be proficient in Word, Access, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

ExperienceExperience: Three years of specialized, increasingly responsible clerical work; and
TrainingEquivalent to completion of the twelfth grade.
