Temporary Pool Positions
Cal State Fullerton seeks individuals interested in temporary appointments, which range from a duration of several days to a maximum of 180 days within various departments. The Temporary Pool is established for current and future vacancies to replace an employee on a leave of absence or to provide support during a recruitment process subsequent to an employee's resignation. Applications are accepted and reviewed continuously and are kept on file from July 1, 2026 through June 30, 2027.

- Accountant
- Accounting Technician
- Administrative Support Assistant/Coordinator
- Administrative Analyst
- Custodian
- Grounds worker
- Laborer
- Mail Clerk
- Payroll Technician
- Public Affairs/Communication Specialist
- Student Services Professional
Essential qualifications may vary according to the requirements of the position. A background check (including a criminal records check) must be completed satisfactorily and is required for employment. CSU will make a conditional offer of employment, which may be rescinded if the background check reveals disqualifying information, and/or it is discovered that the candidate knowingly withheld or falsified information. Failure to satisfactorily complete the background check may affect the continued employment of a current CSU employee who was conditionally offered the position.
