Position Summary We’re seeking an experienced Procurement Manager to lead and optimize our procurement operations. This role drives sourcing strategy, cost efficiency, supplier performance, and material availability. The ideal candidate combines strong commercial judgment with a hands‑on, data‑driven approach and thrives in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.
Candidates MUST have aerospace experience.
Key Responsibilities Procurement Strategy & Execution- Develop and execute sourcing strategies across the full procurement lifecycle
- Lead strategic and day‑to‑day purchasing activities
- Identify and implement low‑cost sourcing opportunities
- Partner with supply chain planning to align demand forecasts and ensure continuity of supply
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with suppliers, vendors, and logistics partners
- Build and maintain high‑performing supplier relationships
- Resolve supplier issues, performance gaps, and disputes
- Drive continuous improvement across procurement and supply chain processes
- Evaluate and leverage technology to improve visibility, tracking, and reporting
- Support cost‑reduction and operational efficiency initiatives
- Lead, mentor, and develop the procurement team
- Foster accountability, collaboration, and performance excellence
- Ensure procurement activities meet regulatory and contractual requirements
- Identify supply risks and implement mitigation strategies
- Analyze inventory performance to improve turnover and minimize waste
- Partner cross‑functionally on inventory and supply strategies
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field
- 5+ years of procurement experience, ideally within manufacturing
- Strong background in strategic sourcing, vendor management, and negotiations
- Proven leadership and cross‑functional collaboration skills
- ERP proficiency and advanced Excel skills
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication abilities
- Occasional standing, walking, and light lifting (up to 20 lbs)
- Split work environment between office and factory floor
- Exposure to typical manufacturing conditions, including noise and fumes
Compensation: $120,000 - $145,000 (DOE)
