About the Position:
The Educational Doctorate program within the College of Education is committed to preparing high quality educators and leaders who engage in research‑based instruction, reflective practices, meet ethical and professional standards, participate in innovative collaborative endeavors, and are dedicated to lifelong learning and making the world a better place. We seek an exceptional individual to join our team as the Educational Doctorate Assistant (Administrative Support Assistant II).
The ideal candidate in this role should have a positive attitude and an active, energetic mind characterized by highly ethical practices and a commitment to inclusivity, openness, flexibility, integrity, and kindness.
Under general supervision of the Associate Dean and the Director of the Educational Doctorate program, the Educational Doctorate Assistant coordinates student assistant office coverage and purchasing of supplies, ensures direct assessments and surveys are collected by working with a data analyst each semester, communicates with faculty what needs to be collected, and tracks the collection and submission related to the Educational Doctorate.
The assistant monitors department email and creates a process for ensuring faculty submit their APA citations, assists Educational Doctorate recruiters with tracking applications and files, schedules admissions interviews including setup, collects and archives Educational Doctorate syllabi each semester, creates, maintains and posts office hours for Educational Doctorate instructors each semester, and helps maintain a student tracking sheet that records student status in course, program, chair assignments, and other notes.
Other duties as assigned.
