Social Work - Part‑Time Lecturer Pool

The Department of Social Work at CSU Fullerton invites applications for its Part‑Time Lecturer Pool. Candidates should be student‑centered and have clinical, policy, or teaching experience.

Required Qualifications
  • Master’s Degree in Social Work or Social Welfare from a program accredited by the Council on Social Work Education.
  • At least 2 years of post‑master’s practice experience for social work practice classes.
  • University‑level teaching experience.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with culturally and ethnically diverse populations.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working with clients from diverse socio‑cultural backgrounds.
  • Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the State of California for practice classes.
Benefits and Compensation

All appointments are made as Lecturers under the CSU Collective Bargaining Agreement. Initial appointments are for one semester. Salary ranges from $5,507 to $6,677 per month, prorated to units worked.

Appointment Dates and Academic Calendar

Part‑time faculty are most needed in Fall and Spring semesters. Fall term runs from late August to mid‑December;
Spring term runs from mid‑January to end of May. Occasional Summer sessions may also require faculty.
