Position
The Gender and Sexuality Studies and Queer Studies Programs at CSU Fullerton invites applications for its Part-Time Lecturer Pool.
Responsibilities
- Teach courses in the following subject areas:
- Gender & Sexuality Studies 100 – Decoding Desire:
Gender and Sexuality in the Humanities - Gender & Sexuality Studies 205 – Gender and Globalization
- Gender & Sexuality Studies 302 – Gender and Sexuality Studies
- Gender & Sexuality Studies 320 – Digital Culture, Gender and Sexuality
- Gender & Sexuality Studies 100 – Decoding Desire:
- Provide instruction on a temporary basis, with appointments often at short notice.
Required Qualifications
- Ph.D. or ABD status in Gender and Sexuality Studies, Queer Studies or a related field; M.A. may be considered with substantial graduate coursework.
- Demonstrated ability to interact and work effectively with a culturally diverse student body.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with diverse populations and fostering an inclusive environment.
- Demonstrated understanding of Feminist/gender theory, Queer Theory, and Critical Race Theory.

Appointment & Salary

Mandatory Reporter
The person holding this position is considered a mandated reporter under the California Child Abuse And Neglect Reporting Act and must comply with CSU Executive Order 1083.
