Academic ResponsibilitiesThe Department of Marketing invites applications for its part‑time lecturer pool to teach undergraduate courses in Marketing, including:
- Advertising
- A.I.
- Consumer Behavior
- Data‑Based Marketing
- Digital Marketing
- Global Marketing
- Market Research
- Marketing Analytics
- Principles of Marketing
- Retail Marketing
Appointments are made from the part‑time pool on short notice and are temporary, typically for one semester.
Required Qualifications- Hold at least a Master’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field and have relevant professional work experience.
- Demonstrate ability to interact and work effectively with a diverse faculty, staff, and student body.
- Doctoral degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- University‑level teaching experience and strong relevant work experience.
- Experience teaching diverse populations and fostering an inclusive environment.

Appointments are made as Lecturers under the CSU System and California Faculty Association agreement. Initial appointments are one semester. Salary range is $5,507–$6,677 per month, prorated to units worked. For a three‑unit assignment, typical compensation ranges from $6,608.40 to $7,465.20 per semester.
