The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at CSU Fullerton invites applications for its Part‑Time Lecturer Pool. Applicants will teach in Electrical and Computer Engineering courses as needed. Pool positions are temporary and may be assigned on short notice.
Required Qualifications- Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Prior university‑level teaching experience
- Ability to interact effectively with a culturally diverse student body, including first‑generation college students
- Experience working with diverse faculty, staff, and students in the College of Engineering and Computer Science
- Ph.D. in Electrical or Computer Engineering
- Significant teaching experience with diverse populations and fostering inclusive learning environments
- Relevant professional and performance experience

All appointments are as Lecturers under the CSU–CFCA Collective Bargaining Agreement. Initial appointments are for one semester.
Classification range: $5,507 – $6,677 per month (anticipating up to $6,221 per month). Compensation is prorated to units worked and paid in six monthly installments. Typical three‑unit assignment starts at $6,608.40–$7,465.20 per semester.
Performance EvaluationEvaluations align with the Collective Bargaining Agreement and University Policy Statement 210.070. Outcomes influence continued teaching assignments.
Other InformationPositions are most needed in Fall and Spring. The fall term runs late August to mid‑December; the spring term runs mid‑January to end of May. Rarely, summer sessions require faculty.
