This is a continuous recruitment to fill part‑time and temporary faculty assignments on an as‑needed basis. When the need to fill arises, the department will refer to this pool of part‑time faculty.

• Teaching courses for Fall 2025 in Public Speaking, Small Group Communication, Interpersonal Communication, and Essentials of Argumentation.
• Preparing and delivering instructional materials, facilitating discussions, and evaluating student work.
• Collaborating with colleagues to develop curriculum and assessment strategies.
• Maintaining a supportive and inclusive classroom environment.

• Master’s degree in Speech, Speech Broadcasting, Telecommunications, Rhetoric, Communication, Communication Studies, Speech Communication, or Organizational Communication.
• OR Bachelor’s degree in any of the above subjects.
• AND Master’s degree in Drama/Theater Arts, Mass Communication, or English.
• OR possess a valid California teaching credential authorizing service in a community college in the appropriate subject matter area.
