This is a continuous recruitment to fill part‑time and temporary faculty assignments on an as‑needed basis. When the need to fill arises, the department will refer to this pool of part‑time faculty.

Duties and Responsibilities- Teaching courses for Fall 2025 in Public Speaking, Small Group Communication, Interpersonal Communication, and Essentials of Argumentation.
- Preparing and delivering instructional materials, facilitating discussions, and evaluating student work.
- Collaborating with colleagues to develop curriculum and assessment strategies.
- Maintaining a supportive and inclusive classroom environment.
- Master’s degree in Speech, Speech Broadcasting, Telecommunications, Rhetoric, Communication, Communication Studies, Speech Communication, or Organizational Communication.
- OR Bachelor’s degree in any of the above subjects.
- AND Master’s degree in Drama/Theater Arts, Mass Communication, or English.
- OR possess a valid California teaching credential authorizing service in a community college in the appropriate subject matter area.
