Anthropology, Part Time Lecturer Pool

The Division of Anthropology at CSU Fullerton invites applications for its Part-Time Lecturer Pool. This is a pool of part-time lecturers for the department to draw on as necessary. Qualified applicants will be contacted when positions are available. Appointments from the part-time pool are temporary and often made just prior to the start of the academic term. Applicants must be available on very short notice.

Required qualifications include holding at least a Master's degree in a field relevant to the curriculum of the Division of Anthropology. A Ph.D. or extensive professional experience is desirable for teaching upper-division courses (300 or 400 level) and required for 500 level graduate courses. Candidates should demonstrate their ability to interact and work effectively with a wide and culturally diverse range of students, including first-generation college students.

Preferred qualifications include experience in working with diverse populations and fostering a collaborative, supportive and inclusive environment. Preference will also be given to those with relevant work experience and those who bring professional capabilities.
