Position Overview
Part‑Time Lecturer – Department of Art, CSU Fullerton. Primary responsibilities include teaching studio or lecture classes and collaborating with colleagues to develop curricular offerings. Positions may be eligible for a benefits package depending on the credit‑load taught each semester.

- Experience teaching at the college or university level.
- Ability to interact and work effectively with an inclusive and culturally diverse range of students, including first‑generation college students.
- Working knowledge of historical and contemporary art and arts practices.
- Ability to facilitate group and individual critiques.
- Clear communication and collaboration skills with students.
- Organizational skills and experience using digital platforms to deliver content.
- Significant teaching experience with diverse populations and a record of fostering a supportive, inclusive environment.
- Relevant professional and performance experience.

Appointments are made as Lecturers under the CSU Collective Bargaining Agreement. Initial appointments are for one semester only. Classification Range: $5,507 – $6,677 per month. Anticipated hiring range based on qualifications: up to $6,221 per month. Compensation is prorated by units taught and paid in monthly installments.
