Fullerton College, Department of Natural Sciences is soliciting applications for part‑time Human Anatomy Instructors for Spring 2026 and ongoing.

Title:
Human Anatomy Instructor Pool – Part-Time.
Salary: $1,391.74 – $1,527.30 per lecture unit rate; $1,391.74 – $1,527.30 per lab parity unit rate; $1,113.42 – $1,221.77 per lab unit rate.
Schedule:
Course meets twice a week, in person; morning, afternoon, or evening sections may be offered.
Teach ANAT 231 – Human Anatomy. Responsibilities include delivering lecture and laboratory instruction, guiding dissections, and utilizing multi‑modal, student‑centered pedagogies. The instructor will also support curriculum development, program self‑assessment, and SLO assessment aligned with first‑generation, immigrant, and low‑income student needs.
Required Qualifications- Master’s degree in any biological science, or Bachelor’s degree in any biological science AND a Master’s in biochemistry, biophysics, or marine science.
- OR a valid California teaching credential authorizing service in a community college in the appropriate subject matter area.
- OR equivalent qualifications that meet district equivalency criteria.
- Demonstrated commitment to diversity: sensitivity to and understanding of the diverse backgrounds of community‑college students, faculty, and staff.
- Official transcripts and verification of experience prior to the first duty day.
- Experience teaching in‑person laboratories and knowledge of anatomical and histological specimens and models.
- Ability to direct student dissections.
- Experience with curriculum development, program self‑assessment, and SLO assessment.
- Proficiency in multi‑modal teaching methods and student‑centered pedagogy.
